Yesterday, one of my favorite chapters from the My Love Mix-Up! Manga aired. During a production of Cinderella, Aoki realizes he is starting to fall for Ida.

It is the most innocent awakening of a character’s sexuality I’ve ever read, and the scene was brilliantly executed by Shunsuke Michieda as Aoki and Ren Meguro as Ida. It’s one of the reasons why the original is one of my go-to feel-good series.

In my opinion, there are no other actors who could portray these characters besides Gemini (Norawit Thiticharoenrak) and Fourth (Nattawat Jirochtikul) – because I knew music was going to be a MAJOR part of the series.

Gemini, with his sweet yet sensual personality mixed with Fourth, his cute and colorful innocence, a wonderful mix that is beautifully showcased in the newest OST music video release: ดั่งวาดฝันเสมอมา (It’s you).

This beautifully crafted ballad mixes traditional Thai instruments with modern-pop flare. As always, Gemini’s voice is innocently seductive, but even in the softness of the song, there is a brightness to Fourth.

The sweeping cinematic romance of this song is a stark contrast to the simple comedy of the previous OST release: ลบยัง (Re-Move On).

There will be more My Love Mix-Up soon so…

Stay Tuned!
