STARTO ENTERTAINMENT, since its inception, has been driven by a unique vision to inspire. They don’t just churn out ordinary run-of-the-mill idols. Each of their artists possesses a special, almost magical quality that sets them apart from the rest. They’re not just stars; they’re dream weavers. Many of these extraordinary artists have lent their talents to the music video for “WE ARE,” now available on YouTube..
“WE ARE” was recorded as a charity single in the vein of 1985’s “We Are the World,” with all proceeds donated to benefit those affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake earlier this year. It features 75 members across 14 groups, including NEWS, SUPER EIGHT, KAT-TUN, Hey! Say! JUMP, Kis-My-Ft2, timelesz, A.B.C-Z, WEST., King & Prince, SixTONES, Snow Man, Naniwa Danshi, Travis Japan, and the newest group to debut under STARTO: Ae! group. The song is sweet, uplifting, and most importantly, inspiring.
The video – filmed while the groups were in the studio recording the song – is simple, sweet, and exactly what it needed to be. There’s no ego in these groups, and the video shows that.
Available on all digital / streaming platforms, a Limited Edition physical CD/Blu-Ray version of the single will be released on 12 June and can be purchased wherever Japanese music and movies are sold, including CD Japan
