The 2023 joint venture between SBS (Seoul Broadcasting System) and Netflix was one of those series that took me by surprise. First, it was a hetero-driven drama, which isn’t something that I devote a lot of time to these days, but it was supernatural and Kang Song (송강) is just delicious. Plus, the opening title sequence featuring Truth by Yoari was an instant draw.

The score for My Demon had several composers and featured some truly fascinating music that, when released for purchase came in two forms. The first is a NEMO album Figure. This smart album connects through the Nemoz app, which allows you access not only to the music but music videos and downloaded photo content. It also came with some adorable stickers.

I did have some trouble getting the figure, which is, in itself, the way to connect to the app, but once it connected everything ran smoothly. The figure is vinyl and absolutely adorable. The photos do not do it justice. However, even though I own the album, I am just not a fan of listening to music stuck on a specific platform. I want the freedom of playing it not just through an app on my phone, but my iTunes, or any other source I might have access to – or even – as dated as it sounds – burn to a CD. This is why I much prefer the second purchase option, the USB Album TAROT CARD Version.

Not only does it USB come with all 65 tracks in uncompressed .wav format, but also comes with a set of pristine Tarot Cards – fitting for a series like this. Glossy and sturdy, they would be great for everyday readings – if they were not so damn gorgeous!

The purchase quantity of either set will count towards the  HANTEO, CIRCLE (GAON) and BILLBOARD Charts – and legal purchase of this type of set does help ensure that we will get more in the future. I purchased both sets from kpopalbums and it was a pretty easy experience. Both sets arrived on time and were securely packaged. I’ve previously ordered the new album from OnlyOneOf from them as well, and received a similar experience – so I see no reason to use anyone else for my KPOP related orders.
