Shintaro Morimoto from JPOP’s reigning bad boys SixTONES has been cast in his first leading role in a prime time drama: Machinami Terasu Yatsura (街並み照らすヤツら) from Nippon TV that will start airing Saturdays in April!

The story is about Seigi Takeno (Morimoto) who owns a floundering cake shop with his wife, which as left to him after the death of his parents. Loving and kind, Seigi becomes swept up in unsavory things to protect his family and his shop.
