Spring has sprung and so is Travis Japan! In their first release since their debut album Road to A Travis Japan have turned up the beat and keep the energy high with their newest track “T.G.I. Friday Night”.
Choreographed by s**t kingz the track is a weekend pop anthem seasoned with a disco baseline that allows the group to do what they do best. Move. “We’re beyond grateful for their work on this amazing song!” Genta “G” Matsuda said of working with the world-renowned dance and performance troupe. “Both the song and the choreography are incredibly funky, poppy, and groovy, making it so much fun to listen to!” he continued. “Thank you so much!”
Released weeks before Japanese Pride, the music video shows a group ready to party and with the inclusion of a rainbow flag and ribbons that wave in the colors that support the trans community, Travis Japan makes it perfectly clear that everyone is welcome!

It’s a simple and subtle gesture, but it speaks volumes for the group and the company who represents them while reiterating the message from their debut single: “It don’t matter where you’re from or who you are… JUST DANCE!” and with “T.G.I. Friday Night” they add that they “Love you just the way you are.” It’s a beautiful message – and a great song!
T.G.I. Friday Night is available in both English and Japanese.

There will be more Travis Japan soon so…
Stay Tuned!
