609 Bedtime Story has a special place in my heart. Not only does it star OhmFluke (Thitiwat Ritprasert and Natouch Siripongthon) in one of my favorite projects since their BL masterpiece Until We Meet Again, it also features the adorable Watcharayu Suradet (Potae) and a special appearance by the hero of my Thai dreams Nat Sakdatorn.

Mum (Ritprasert) is a playboy who sleeps with any woman who will have him, and given his young, handsome, and incredibly rich – there’s a lot. Dew (Siripongthon) is the exact opposite. The two meet, when their timelines crisscross, and the two end up in one another’s worlds.

From the moment he meets him, Mum falls head over heels in love with Dew. But, as far as he knows, he only exists in the world of his dreams – that is until he meets Dew in real life, but the handsome designer has no idea who he is.

Things get even more complicated when Mum realizes that he’s the only chance Dew has of not being murdered in cold blood.

Distributed through TC Entertainment, the single-sided/single-layered disc Blu-ray Disc holds all eleven episodes – all of which were written by Yokee Apirak Chaipanha and Chot-anan Kasamwonghong. Tanwarin Sukkhapisit, a master of supernatural storytelling, served as director for the series.

It’s a strange, but very well-done series. In addition to being a reunion for OhmFluke, it was also a reunion between Fluke and Sukkhapisit who worked previously together on the film Red Wine in the Dark Night.

With a run time of 580 minutes (each episode is about 46 minutes), the series is presented in 1080 HD with an aspect ratio of 16:9. The audio track is Thai Dolby Digital Stereo and the set does include Japanese subtitles, however, there are no English subtitles with this set.

Released on 02 December, First Press details (which are no longer available) induced an outer case, a 24-page photo booklet, two large-sized photo cards with messages from the actors, a folded mini-poster, stickers featuring the logo and the characters, and a reversible trading card randomly selected from tw o different options.609 Bedtime Story can be ordered wherever Japanese media is found, including CD JAPAN
