When it comes to K dramas one of the driving forces that hooks fans, (at least for me) is the music. There are so many amazing series with incredible sound tracks, and one that is very near and dear to my heart is that of the SBS television drama The King: Eternal Monarch.
I discovered this series on Netflix after being diagnosed with Covid, and throughout the week-long illness, this series helped easy the boredom. It’s an incredible piece of television with some amazing. music.
With thirteen tracks, the OST features some of Korea’s biggest names and some of the genre’s catch songs!
Zion.T – I Just Want To Stay With You
Hwa Sa – Orbit
Gummy – My Love
Onestar – You’re My End and My Beginning
With thirteen tracks, the OST features some of Korea’s biggest names and some of the genre’s catchiest songs! While these are just the highlights, I do recommend checking out the official Stone Music Entertainment YouTube page for this and other great K-Drama music videos.
The score, composed by Park Jung-hwan, Gaemi, Park Yun-seo, Lee Seong-gu, Yoo Min-ho, Park Mi-sun, Park Mi-sun is, in a word, phenomenal – starting with the series theme!
And it just gets more intense from there. It’s just a glorious soundtrack to write to, and the special edition soundtrack also came in the form of a 180 page photo book.

While the physical edition is out of print, you can still purchase digital copies on iTunes or stream on Spotify, and Apple Music.
More K DRAMA OST reviews soon so…
