Starting 2024 with a bang, the biggest group J POP, Snow Man, have released the music video for the first half of the double A-Side single “LOVE TRIGGER” and in typical group fashion, it’s a bop! 

Dripping with disco, it’s got a catchy beat, playful lyrics, and a melody that’s going to get stuck in your head for days.  I love the color palette of this video. Bright pinks, pastel blues – when each member has their own solo spot on the screen, they pop, especially Megruo in his sleek red suit and Fukazawa in emerald green.

The lead track from their tenth single (a double A-Side with “We belong together”) “LOVE TRIGGER” is featured as the theme song to group member Iwamoto’s new series “Koisuru Keigo 24 Ji,” Hikaru, with a fresh new haircut, is the front man for this video – and damn does he look good! 

Also serving as the choreographer, it’s got that signature Iwamoto footwork that’s sensual without being overly sexual, and incredible to watch. 

If you’re a fan of the group, the video was cleverly shot with little easter eggs referencing some of the group’s previous releases and there’s a direct call back to last year’s “JUICY” – which is still in constant rotation on my playlist.
