I am not going to lie, when I was watching this series, it wasn’t one of my favorites. But, as a fan of Pond and Phuwin, I stuck with it. However, the more I watched, the more I realized, my attention was drawn to other things. I kept having to stop, rewind, and watch again, and I still wouldn’t get it. I found Phuwin’s Nuengdiao obnoxious while Pond’s Palm was idealist and boring. So, eventually, I just gave up.

Then came Our Skyy 2 and I fell in love with the continuation of Palm and Diao’s story. Also, the addition of a supernatural catalyst got me curious. So, when eThai mentioned they had a boxset for sale, I took the chance to rewatch the series.

I’m glad I did.

Artwork: GMMTV doesn’t skimp out when it comes to the quality of their products. The outbox has a very sturdy canvas-like feel to it. The inner box, which includes a gorgeous image of Phuwin and Pond at the beach unfolds to reveal the discs, photo cards, and other extras including a photobook, a 3D photo card, and several other collectibles.

Specs: 7 DVDs include all 12 episodes (two episodes per disc, played straight through like a 90-minute film), the seventh disc includes the series’ OST Music videos and behind-the-scenes content. It’s still not my favorite of the GMMTV series, but it’s enjoyable and a nice addition to your collection.
