When the Japanese drama Jack o’ Frost first aired in February, I wasn’t quite sure what to think. But throughout the series 6 episodes, it became one of my most favorite series of the year.

After celebrating his birthday, illustrator Ritsu Okusawa (Kyoya Honda) fights with his live-in boyfriend Kosuke Suzuki (Fumiya Ikegami). Taking a walk to clear his head, Ritsu is in an accident and he loses his memory, more specifically, his memories of Kosuke.

Taking the opportunity to make things right, Kosuke doesn’t tell Ritsu that they’ve broken up. His goal is to make him fall in love with him again, which he does.

In August, Happinet Media Marketing released a box of the series.

Artwork: The artwork is nice with packaging.

Specs: The 3-disc set, running at 144 minutes is presented in stunning 1080 and includes all 6 episodes and a plethora of bonus material including visual commentary for episode 1, making-of footage, the trailer, and clean videos for the opening & ending credits.

You can pre-order the set wherever Japanese entertainment is sold, including CD Japan.
