While Fire is finally on his date with Jane, Ten is more determined than ever to have Prem teach him the ways of the paper hat. However, in an attempt to keep Ten off his tail, Prem serves him a dinner that (as Ten puts it) isn’t fit for any human to eat. Ever. Prem hopes the terrible cuisine will finally force the medical student to not ask for his help. Fire doesn’t have the best luck either as he soon realizes that while he’s out on his date with Jane, Dynamite and Samsi (Jaruwat Cheawaram) are watching their every move. Dynamite refuses to give up on his feelings for the handsome (and athletic) Fire.

Fire confronts, Dynamite, demanding to know why he keeps seeing him everywhere he goes. Dynamte’s response: “Maybe you’re seeing me because you’re always looking for me.” Despite Jane having a good time on the date, Fire really can’t get Dynamite out of his head. After closing up the restaurant for the night, Prem learns his sister Paeng (Pimwalee Phunsawat) has lost ฿50,000 bhat ($1,428.00). She begs for her big brother’s help. Later, he calls Ten and asks for another chance. This time he makes fried pork toast and it’s delicious. Ten even agrees to his ฿50,000.00 fee.

The Agreement

The next day the two meet at the fresh market to get ingredients for Tom Kha soup. As Prem teaches Ten, he discovers that Ten isn’t used to (and does not like) being touched by other people. Prem then learns that he wanted to make the soup for someone else to try (though we never learn who it was). The episode ends with the two men each holding a photograph of the two of them when they were younger – though it’s unclear if they know it’s themselves yet.

Quick Take: Comedy is the game of these actors. They’re so good together. Also, the touch thing is a real trait Off has. It’s something he and Gun have talked about in interviews because Gun is very touchy-feely. It was a cool thing to work into the story.
