As a child Veekij (Jirawat Sutivanichsak, Dew), is abandoned by his mother at an amusement park. Traumatized by the event he develops prosopagnosia or “face blindness,” meaning he cannot distinguish people’s faces. As a young adult, he’s a stoic and strict CEO of a company run with his cousin Chanon (Ishikawa Plowed, Luke). Relying on name tags, he hires an assistant, Mirin (Supassara Thanachart, Kao) to help him connect to the outside world.

Strong-willed and independently minded Mirin doesn’t put up with his usually cold (often boarding on cruel) actions. She puts him in his place – which is exactly what Veekij needs.

Luke, Kao, and Dew

It’s an interesting story. Prosopagnosia is not something I’ve ever heard of before, but as a real neurological disease, it must be terrifying, especially if it’s something that sets in later in life. I love the dynamic between Veekij and Mirin. This is my first exposure to Kao as an actor and I absolutely love her spit-fire energy.

Dew was one of my favorites from the cast of F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers. Ren was so sweet and so kind, that I thoroughly enjoy watching him act like a spoiled brat!

Any time I get to see Luke on my screen it’s a good day. Having interviewed the American-born actor, I can honestly say he’s just as charming off-screen as he is on and his smile is ten times more captivating when it’s directed at you.

Faceless Love can be viewed on Amazon Prime (in certain territories) as well as the official GMMTV YouTube page.
