Just when I think I couldn’t love the seven colorful cuties of Naniwa Danshi anymore than I already do, they go and drop a bop that I literally can’t stop listening to “Join us!”

Adding a bit of techno to their sound takes their music to a whole new level! As the B-side track to their 6th single, “I Wish” the guys are sucked into a digital dimension where they sing and dance, and explore a reality completely new to them. Though they stay true to the sugar-pop sweetness that they’re known for, the production does add a bit of maturity to their sound and the video ends with the promise that they’re on their way to the next stage!!

They’re growing up and I love what I am seeing/hearing from them. I love watching them evolve as artists and individuals. In fact, the title track “I Wish” is the theme of group member Shunsuke Michieda’s newest drama My Second Aoharu (English: My Second Youth).

A physical CD of “I Wish,” featuring “Join us!” as a B-side track, will be released on November 15, 2023. Available wherever Japanese CDs are sold, the disc comes in 3 different versions containing additional songs and plenty of behind-the-scenes video content! As a fan, I’ve already pre-ordered mine from CD Japan.
