Once Ajin is able to break the spell, Fa’s sight is restored, she can look her attacker in the eyes as they fight. In doing so, she has a realization. Ajin arrives and wants to go after her, but she stops him. Afraid, she doesn’t want him to be hurt. He tells her not to worry and to wait for him at his apartment while he rushes off.
When Ajin returns to his apartment later that night, he’s injured but alive. But the dark practitioner got away. After Fa dresses his wounds he asks her point blank when she discovers that the dark practitioner was Nam.
She confesses that she’s had her suspicions since they found the dummy hanging in the music room. But she didn’t want to believe that her friend was capable of something so horrible. She also confesses the reasons as to why the two were no longer close, which boils down to the abusive nature of Nam’s mother.

Impressed by (and grateful for) her honesty, Ajin takes her into his world. He also gives her a piece of his history and more information on the deep-seated darkness of Enigma. Fa asks him that no matter what, he spares Nam’s life. He promises her.
Back in the human realm, Ajin sends Fa to the school while he goes to pay a visit to Nam. But Nam isn’t home. She’s gone to the school, to be rid of Fa once and for all.
Quick Take: While I do feel like the story slowed for this episode, it was vital for character/world building. Some major questions were answered while others came to light. It’s a well-written piece of television.
What does Nam have planned for Fa? Will Ajin make it to her in time? There’s only one episode of Enigma left so…
