After taking In Hae to the hospital Do Shik not only tells her that she’s not safe around Woo Hyeol, but he tells Woo Hyeol that he he never wants him to come around In Hae again. Ever. While In Hae has no intention of heeding his warnings, Woo Hyeol is conflicted. He doesn’t want to do anything to hurt her. Ever. Not even if it means dying himself.
Drinking alone, Mr. Ko reflects on what a mess he’s made of things. All he wanted to do was help Woo Hyeol, but after telling the vampire the only way to become human is to kill the person who woke him up, Woo Hyeol wants nothing more to do with him. He’s failed.
Hae Won brings the drawing of Hae Sun back to the mansion. She hopes that by doing so, Woo Hyeol will look at her the way he did when they first met. However, that ship has sailed. He apologizes. Though it’s true she looks like his his first love, she isn’t the one he was searching for. That person is In Hae.

Leaving the hospital early, In Hae returns to the mansion where So Yi is waiting to apologize. In Hae knows it’s not her fault. It was the man who broke into the apartment. She’s not upset with So Yi in the slightest.
Back in her penthouse Hae Won is upset. Calls her attorney she leaves a voice message telling him to call her back. She vows to put everything back in its proper place.
Woo Hyeol tells Dong Soup and Sang Hae that he wants them to find In Hae’s father. He’s been thinking about what he said about him possibly being kidnapped. What he doesn’t tell his friends is that he wants to find her father, so that when he leaves, she won’t be alone.
Sitting in the garden he confesses that he did in fact have a reaction to her blood. He blames himself. He hasn’t changed. He sees himself as the monster Do Shik claims him to be. But that’s not how In Hae sees him. Not at all. Though he doesn’t think so she knows he deserves to be loved.
At his office, Do Shik finds Man Hwai with his feet up on his desk. Telling the vampire he knows Woo Hyeol is the one he’s looking for, he offers him even more money if he captures him. But he must bring him back to him alive. Man Hwi tells him of men in the past looking for a being who could bring them immortality.
Woo Hyeol, Dong Seop, and Sang Hae pass out flyers, looking for witnesses who might have seen the kidnapping of In Hae’s father. Man Hwi sees one of the flyers. Returning to his basement prison, Man Hwi takes in In Hae’s father with a devilish grin. He sees him as the key to Woo Hyeon’s undoing.

While they’re out, Hae Won comes to the mansion. Armed with an investment withdrawal request, she accuses In Hae of deceiving her based on the fact that she knew Woo Hegel was a vampire. She demands to be paid back in full in one week. However, she does state that if In Hae does not have the money to pay her back, she will accept the mansion as payment. In Hae refuses.
Hearing that Hae Won came by the mansion, Woo Hyeol rushes to make sure In Hae is okay. She doesn’t tell him the truth. While they talk. Mr. Ko visits Dong Seop and Sang Hae in the garden. He reveals that they only have until the next new moon. Once the moon disappears, darkness will fall and Woo Hyeol will be no more.
Furious, his friends confront him. They’re family. They need him. They can’t live without him. He is upset, but he knows it wouldn’t change anything anyway. Getting a call about the missing person, Woo Hyeol rushes from the mansion. He doesn’t know it’s a trap set up by Man Hwi.
Arriving at the secret house, he walks inside and finds the prisoners locked in cages. However, before he can resume them he’s captured himself. Man Hwi reveals himself. He’s so proud his plan worked and with Man Hwi having lost his vampire powers, there’s nothing he can do about it.

He’s going to die.
Quick Take: I knew Hae Won was evil, but I can’t decide who’s worse, her or Man Hwi?
Will Woo Hyeol’s friends get to him in time? Even if they save him, what will happen to him during the new moon? How will In Hae react when she sees her father again?
More Heartbeat soon so…
