When it comes to BL Boxsets, there’s nobody better than GMMTV. Every set I have bought (and I’ve bought almost all of them) has been nothing short of stellar. Sturdy and loaded with extras, I am always impressed, but with their newest release A Boss and a Babe, they’ve outdone themselves.
The adorable Kasidet Plookphol (Book) stars as Cher, a gamer who wants to make it big in the e-sports industry. He gets his chance when his friend Jack, played by GMMTV’s resident comedian Chinnarat Siriphongchawalit (aka Mike) gets him an internship with the company he works at. From day one he attracts the intention of his boss Gun, played by the dreamy Jiratchapong Srisang (aka Force) who constantly sends him on some pretty weird errands, confusing Cher about his true intentions. But, once Gun realizes that Cher is the voice behind the ASMR channel whose videos coax him to sleep every night, everything changes. It’s an adorable office comedy written by Inthira Thanasarnsumrit with an incredible cast directed by New Siwaj Sawatmaneekul

As with all GMMTV sets, the outer box is sturdy and strong, with pixel-perfect screen printing made to look like a computer screen. Opening the box, the front flap becomes a keyboard. It’s ingeniously cute and practical for keeping the extras, and there are a ton, in place.
7 adorably printed DVDs contain all 12 episodes (uncut) as well as music videos and behind-the-scenes featureless. There is a photo book, photo cards, mini-posters, and a 3D 8-bit puzzle. It’s a great series, with a decent price tag. I always order my Thai series and other merch from eThaiCD – they’re fast, friendly, and really wonderful to work with!
