Starting to sober up In Hae takes Woo Hyeol back inside, but just as they enter the house they hear Hae Won scream in the kitchen. Woo Hyeol races to her at super speed, catching her just before she hits the ground. At the same time, In Hae pulls Do Shik away so that he doesn’t see the vampire in action. Grateful for her safety, Woo Hyeol faints. Once again, In Hae brushes it off as him being drunk.

The next morning, he wakes up with a hell of a hangover. It’s made worse when In Hae reminds him of what he’s done, in a very loud and aggressive manner. She then forbids him from eating any more human food.

Dong Seop, Rose, and Sang Hae meet Mr. Ko, who is not a fan of Dong Seop’s food. Sang Hae questions him about stealing Woo Hyeol’s gold. Mr. Ko confesses that he was in added in the basement, but that he didn’t steal the gold. He only went to the basement to check on the slumbering vampire. Because he’s not human or a vampire, he’s in a very dangerous place. Then he tells them to keep an eye on their vampire friend and to let him know if anything strange happens.

Do Shik talks to his secretary, Koo (Ham Tae In) about the supernatural. Later he meets with In Hae to discuss his ideas for modernizing the mansion. It will take at least a week, so his company will put her and Woo Hyeol in a hotel while his company remodels.

To cure his hangover Woo Hyeol goes to the butcher for Ox blood. As he walks Hae Won invites him out, to say thank you for saving her life. She has a gift for him. The next day, while she’s getting ready, she gets a call from Man Hwi. He wants to take her out on a date. She refuses, telling him inserted not to call her, because she’ll be on a date with a handsome lunatic. He recalls their past conversation in the mall. He knows it Woo Hyeol.

The two spend a day at an art gallery, where Woo Hyeol admires a painting of daffodils. Hae Won says the flower reminds her of stars. Woo Hyeol is taken aback by the comment because it’s also something that Hae Sun once said. Hae Won offers to buy him the painting.

The hotel room Do Shik sets up for In Hae is exquisite. As the two eat together he shares how much he wants to see her smile more, and how he hopes he can be the reason for it. While she is grateful to him, for everything, she needs to focus on the guest house and keeping her head above water. She doesn’t have the time for anything else. He respects her decision.

Woo Hyeol chooses not to stay with In Hae at the hotel. Instead, he thinks it will be good to catch up with Dong Seop and Sang Hae at their small apartment (where they sleep, standing up in the closet). Both of them snore, which keeps Woo Hyeol up. Though, it does allow him to spend time on the phone with In Hae.

With the renovations complete, In Hae and Woo Hyeol return to the mansion to find another gift from Hae Won waiting for them. A brand new car (the painting is in the back seat). During the open house, Ki Sook and Gwang Ok pay a visit to see the final product (so the butcher can make snide comments.

Later, when Woo Hyeol is out getting more rice cakes, Man Hwi. Not only does he taunt Woo Hyeol, Man Hwi tries to hit him with his car. But as a half-human, Woo Hyeol is strong. Unfortunately, that strength is caught on camera by Secretary Koo and given to Do Shik.

The Guest House gets its first guest, a spoiled millennial named Hwang So Yi (Jang Seo Yeon). Mr. Ko tells Woo Hyeol, he’s like a waning moon. His time is running out – and quickly. He must act. Fast. If he doesn’t drink her blood, filled with love, he’ll die.

Quick Take: Ki Sook is this series equivalent of Mrs. Kravitz from Bewitched, only not as classy.  She’s kind of a mean girl. I am excited to see what’s in story for the guest in room 201.

What will Do Shik do now that he knows the truth? What exactly is Hae Won and Man Hwi’s relationship? What secrets is guest in room 201 hiding?
