Seeing the way Woo Hyeol is looking at her In Hae reacts the only way she knows how. Violence. Using a gift given to her by Do Shik she empties have a can of mace on that pretty pretty face. She later apologizes, but makes sure to let Woo Hyeol know that even if she is Hae Sun, she’s not interested. As far as she’s concerned this is her one and only life and he can go kick rocks.

Seeking the help of his friends, Woo Hyeol makes a grave mistake by taking romantic advice from Sang Hae and ends up almost causing In Hae to call the cops on him, because she believes a crazy stalker is leaving her flowers and love notes every day.

Using leftover Oxblood as a catalyst, Ki Sook comes to the mansion and is surprised when In Hae answers the door. She thought it was just Woo Hyeol who lived there. Alone. She then jumps to the conclusion that the two are newlyweds, at which In Hae almost has a heart attack. “We’re just housemates!” She confesses. “That’s all! We’re not together!” But, the butcher isn’t the only one who believes the two are an item.

The entire school does.

After she tells Woo Hyeol to ignore the rumors, and that they shouldn’t care what people think, using her own words against her, the vampire, convinces her to see a movie with him. Then, with the help of Rose, gets dressed up to look like a casual and chic modern man. But, during the movie, In Hae falls asleep. The two are so busy arguing with one another on the way home, that they don’t notice a beautiful woman through the window of a cafe. Hae Won.

She’s there to meet her business partner. A young vampire, named Ri Man Hwi (Baek Seo Hoo). Woo Hyeol once caught him feeding off a human outside Shaded Oasis and warned him never to do so again. Overly smug, Man Hwi brushed off his warning and returned to the party inside. Today, while he refers to Hae Won as his soulmate, she makes it clear that the only thing she’s interested in is the mansion. He’s her business partner. Nothing more.

Back at school, In Hae is once again slapped in the face by the rumors she and Woo Hyeol are dating. Those rumors, coupled with the fact that she stood up for him against the principal, have made the school decide not to renew her contract. Essentially, she’s been fired.

Making her way to one of Do Shik’s restaurants she proceeds to drink her weight in wine and gets utterly wasted. Seeing her, and understanding that she wants to be alone, Do Shik doesn’t approach her, instead, he makes sure that whatever she ordered is covered free of charge and then quietly follows her to make sure she gets home okay.

Once safe inside the mansion, she drunkenly confesses her worries to Woo Hyeol and then goes to bed. The next morning, the vampire finds her sick in bed. While he makes a medicinal soup (from scratch), Do Shik shows up with the modern bottled version and gives it to Woo Hyeol so he can take care of her.

Feeling better, In Hae packs up her office and leaves the school for the final time. Back at the mansion, she’s drawn down to the basement for the first time since meeting Woo Hyeol. She finds a drawing of Hae Sun, one the vampire did himself hundreds of years ago. When he discovers her in his bedroom, she asks him what he would do if she was the reincarnation of the woman he loved. Would he love her?

Quick Take: I absolutely love the pepper spay scene. It’s hysterical. I also love how quick In Hae is to apologize and help him, but then, in the blink of an eye yell at him about this being her only life. The chemistry between these two actors is off the charts.

How will Woo Hyeol answer In Hae’s question? What is Hae Won’s true objective? Find out in Episode 6!
