After Woo Hyeol heroically rescued In Hae from being slicked to pieces by a falling chandelier he saw a trace of blood on her lips. Overcome by his vampier urges he leaned in, kissing her softly. As their lips touched, sparks flickered and Woo Hyeol’s mind was filled with memories of his beloved Hae Sun. Could it be that she is In Hae reincarnated? As the questions swirl through his mind, the confused human, overcome with emotion, orders her savior to bring her back to the ground, which he does, ever so carefully. Then, without warning, she smacks him across the face for kissing her!

Rushing to his faithful companions, Dong Seop Lee Sang Hae he tells them of his plight. They try to offer their assistance, but neither one of them has much experience with romance. As they talk, another vampire cohort, Rose (Seung You), shows up to lecture Sang Hae about not paying his delivery bill. She’s overjoyed to see Woo Hyeol and even gives him a free packet of blood as a welcome-back gift – though she is sad he didn’t get his wish of becoming a human.
Back at the mansion Woo Hyeol and In Hae have a conversation about him getting a job so he can start supporting himself. But when he’s offered a job at the school she’s a nurse the next day, and she demands that he quit. He refuses. Even after one of the students, set fire to one of the buildings (accidentally by flicking a cigarette) and tried to blame it on Woo Hyeol. He refused to quit. Luckily In Hae had footage that exonerated him.

Mr. Ko is upset with Woo Hyeol for drinking her blood and tells him that he shouldn’t do it again because it’s poison to him. Mainly because of the emotion he has for her, and (those he thinks) she has for him. Mr. Ko also visits Sang Hae, to basically tell him what a crap job he’s doing at being an immortal being.
It is discovered that Do Shik has a connection to the vampires and that his father, who died many years ago, hoped that Do Shik would be the one to break the family curse. A curse which apparently causes death before the age of 40.
The butcher, Ki Sook (Baek Hyun Joo), and her husband, Gwang Ok (Jung Young Ki), a tailer are growing more and more suspicious of Woo Hyeol and the reason he just suddenly lives in the haunted mansion across the street.
In the past, we do see what happened moments before Woo Hyeol and Hae Sun are killed by the villagers. IT was she who accidentally revealed his secrets and she who rushes to tell him to leave before he gets hurt.
In the present, Woo Hyeol returns to the mansion and realizes that In Hae must be the reincarnation of the his beloved Hae Sun. There’s just one small problem. Hae Sun is alive and she seems to be very close with Do Shik.

Quick Take: It is my personal opinion that Hae Sun is NOT the sweet and innocent we were first shown her to be. I believe that she will be one of the big-baddies of the series. I am loving it though. So much!
How will In Hae respond to being called the reincarnation of Hae Sun? What will Woo Hyeol do when he finds out his beloved is actually alive? Will Sang Hae ever learn to become someone with a decent character?
