Trillion Game, the hit drama starring Ren Meguro (Snow Man) and Yuto Sano will get a DVD / Blu-Ray release!
Based on the manga written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Ryoichi Ikegami, Trillion Game (トリリオンゲーム) is the story of Haru and Gaku, two best friends who make it their mission to obtain a trillion dollars and live the best life ever. But Kazuma Kokuryu, the most selfish man in Japan stands in their way and will do anything from keeping their dream from becoming a reality, simply because of his own greed.
Snow Man’s Ren Meguro stars as Haru while Gaku is played by Yuto Sano. The series also features Riko Fukumoto as their companies fearless president, Rinrin Takahashi. Fukumoto starred alongside Meguro in the 2021 romantic comedy My Love Mix-Up. Mio Imada, who played Meguro’s love interest in the 2022 fantasy epic My Happy Marriage, portrayed the beautiful but cut-throat. Kirika Kokuryu, the daughter of Kazuma (Jun Kunimura). Meguro’s former group mate from Uchu Six, Yoshitaka Hara plays game developer Shingo Sakura.
Running from 14 Jul – 15 Sep 15 2023 on TBS, Trillion Game was a favorite of fans and critics alike. The 4 single-sided/dual-layered discs with an aspect ratio of 16:9, they are region free with a total run time of about 460 minutes (just over 7 1/2 hours). There will also be some first-press external extras of course, which include a folder, booklet, and key-chains – though all are subject to change.
Releasing on 15 March 2024 you can pre-order the Blu-Ray set directly thought sites like CD Japan.
The series will also be soon be streaming on Netflix, and an anime adaptation was also recently announced.
