Ha, Yeon confronts Soek about being in love with the woman from his past life, rather than him, for who he is now, in the present. Then he tells him that he doesn’t want to see him anymore. Leaving Seok alone with a broken heart, Ha Yeon cleans out his desk at the publishing house and leaves the life he was building for himself behind. This includes tossing the works of Seok, including the final chapters he was editing, into the trash.
Filled with sorrow and the remorse of not telling Ha Yeon everything sooner, Seok tries to pick up the broken pieces of the photo frame of him and his past love. Unable to put the pieces back together, he breaks down in tears. Watching the sunrise the next morning, he’s somber and silent. All he wants is for Ha Yeon to walk back through his door.
At the office, Sin Bi finds Ha Yeon’s resignation later. She rushes to Seok’s apartment and sees the mess that has become of things. He tells her everything. Angry at first, she promises to help her friend and bring him back. He tells her not to. Everything that’s happened is his fault. He deserves this.

Jin Hyeok tells Ha Yeon that he’s going back to America for the next baseball season, and offers him a place if he wants to come back with him. He tells Seok the same thing, and that he plans on confessing to him when Seok rushes to meet Ha Yeon when he’s leaving his father’s company. He then tells Seok to leave, that he’ll only make Ha Yeon feel more uncomfortable. Defeated, that’s exactly what he does.
A month later, Ha Yeon catches an interview with Seok, discussing the fact that the book is being turned into a movie. As David, he comments that he misses him. Seeing it Seok bursts into tears. Ha Jin then calls him and tells him that Ha Yeon is about to get on a plane to America and that he’s probably waiting for Seok to come and stop him.
So he does. He confesses that it’s him. It’s always been him. The past doesn’t matter. He loves HIM. The Ha Yeon is now, today. He’s the one he wants to be with. Before he leaves, Jin Hyeok makes Ha Yeon promise to come to watch one of his games. Then, the writer and his lover confess their feelings. Ha Yeon also confesses, that he had decided not to leave.

Flashing forward, the couple are watching the film based on Seok’s novel. They’re together and they’re happy.
Final Thoughts
I very much enjoyed this bite-sized drama. It was quick, but cute.
