My School President my favorite Thai series of 2022. For one, the story was fun and while Gemini, Fourth, and the rest of the cast are extremely talented actors, the music of the series was just SPOT ON! So, when it came time to pre-order the Special Boxset of the OST, it was a no-brainer for me.
First, the Box itself. Like everything I order from GMMTV, it’s sturdy and sleek, and just really well made. I love the color scheme and aesthetically it’s also a nice companion piece to the series boxset that came out earlier this year.
Now, what’s inside.
3 Photo Cards:
The Thumb Drive: The fact that the songs are available in .WAV file is one thing that makes me very VERY happy. I’ve ordered several digital other music releases from GMMTV and they’ve all been .mp3 (which truncates sound), so the fact that I can hear all of these songs in their complete uncompressed glory was a major selling point. The set includes all 17 original soundtracks from My School President and Our Skyy 2: My School President as well as 2 bonus tracks of cover songs in which Gemini and Fourth sing each others songs “Rock & Star” by Gemini and “Hook: by Fourth.
The Karaoke DVD: The DVD also includes all 17 music videos, plus a bonus lyric video of “Hook” which was sung by Gemini and used as the ending theme to the series.
11 Postcards: These include all the cast members in cute and colorful poses.
The 3D Puzzle. An adorable interpretation of the Holy ChinZilla shrine.
The Photobook: Similar to the one released in the Special Edition Soundtrack Boxset of 2gether, this phonebook is also sturdy and includes photos and lyrics.
Exclusive Photo cards: Who could say no to more Gemini and Fourth? Not me!
As a huge fan of My School President (and GMMTV in general) I have to say that this one of the best boxsets. The music was so wonderful in this series and again, I am very glad GMMTV has decided to start releasing them in an uncompressed format.
