This series was difficult for me, because of the way it started. I had recently lost someone to suicide, and unfortunately, it wasn’t the first time. So, it took my BL bestie a long time to even convince me to watch it. But man, was I glad I finally did, because… What a beautiful series.

Based on the novel The Red Thread by Lazsheep, the series, though emotional, is all about the enduring power of love. It always finds a way – and, if you truly believe in reincarnation (which I do) – not even death can stop it.

Acting-wise, this cast is one of my most favorites from any Thai drama I have ever watched. The chemistry between Fluke, Sammy, and Prem as the three amigos Pharm, Manaow, and Team is unmatched. And it’s nice to know that the three of them are just as close in real life. The same is true with the chemistry between Fluke and Ohm as Pharm and Dean. These two actors have been in several series together and each time, the real-life affection they have with one another bleeds through onto the screen.

one of my FAVORITE moments from the series

Katsamonnat Namwirote, also known as Earth and Cooheart, is just beautiful as Intouch. He and Fluke are also best friends in real life, and the two are absolutely adorable to watch on social media. Earth, in general, is one of my favorite people to follow, because he is so unabashedly unafraid to be himself. He is so cool and confident in who he is and has never let anyone bring him down.

Having discovered it two years after its release, it took me a long time to finally get my hands on a copy of the box set, but now that I have it’s one of my prized possessions.

Until We Meet Again is one of the most beautiful series I have ever seen. I’ve watched it many times and I will watch it many more. I am looking forward to seeing how the manga stands up.

Thank you for coming on this journey with me.

More series soon so…
