Episode Nine delves deeper into just how connected Dean and Pharm really are to one another and the past lives of In and Korn.
SYNOPSIS
In the past, Intouch steals a “kiss” from Korn as the two enjoy an afternoon taking in the sun in a park. At least what he claims is a kiss (which is little more than a peck). Unimpressed, Korn turns the tables, flips In onto his back, and gives him a real kiss.

Dean wakes up from the dream, his face stained with tears. Knowing the couple is more than just a dream, that they were real people, Dean is overcome with sadness. He later confesses to Win about the dreams and how he’s worried about confessing to Pharm that he knows they are the reincarnated souls of Korn and In. He doesn’t want to hurt him or jeopardize their relationship. Later Dean finds Pharm in his faculty library. He embraces him.

Later, Dean meets with Sin at Sorn’s restaurant. who tells him while there is very little he could find about Korn, he did learn that both Korn and In committed suicide on the same day. Korn first, followed by In. Sin then shows Dean an image of In, it’s the first time he is seeing him in the waking world (though Korn is torn out of the image. Sin also drops the bombshell that In was the younger brother of Antika Chatpokin, who is nonother than Dean’s maternal grandmother. So Intouch is, in fact, Dean’s great uncle. Overcome with emotion Dean rushes to Pharm. He spends the night in Pharm’s arms.

THOUGHTS
This episode was heavily focused on Dean which honestly was nice. We’ve seen emotion from Dean before, but for the most part up until know he’s been stoic, stern, and strong, and the emotions are not because of what Korn did to him. His emotions come from how much he hurt In and in turn, Pharm. He’s worried about Pharm, not himself. It’s a very deep episode with several layers.
