When it comes to GMMTV, the Thai entertainment powerhouse is not necessarily known for being steamy, especially when it comes to their BL dramas. The cute and cuddly, they TOTALLY take the cake, but seems with the release of their newest BL series, that’s about to change. Because ONLY FRIENDS is about as steamy as network television can get. 

Starring some of the company’s hottest stars, it’s all about being young, hot, and having as much sex as you possibly can. 

ForceBook, hot off their office comedy star as Top, a designer and Mew a (virginal) college student. The characters of Sand and Ray, played by FirstKhaotung, start off this series similar to their characters in the 2022 drama The Eclipse, as enemies while NeoMark, who play Boston and Nick can’t seem to get enough of one another. 

Neo as Boston

Co-directed by Ninew Pinya with writer Jojo Tichakorn, the series isn’t all sex though. There are some very sweet moments, especially between Top and Mew. While Top (who has previously hooked up with Boston) is handsome and charming, and very clearly a player, meeting Mew has changed him. He wants him, not just in lust, but in love. 

Ray is the very definition of an opulent brat, Sand appears to be from the poor side of the tracks. Driven and hardworking, he looks down on Ray for being drunk all the time and a total burden on society. But, even in the first episode, the sexual tension is there. They want one another. Bad. 

While Boston, is a manwhore, Nick is innocent and calculatingly sweet. He uses his innocence to literally lure Boston inside of him. 

Of course, no series about the lives of gay men would NOT be complete without a token female BFF and Lookjun Bhasidi portrays Namchueam with comedic charm.

Honestly, the episode was really well done. It was sexy, it was fun, and I have been waiting to see Neo top his way through the guys of GMMTV. He’s one of my favorites at the company and just one of the most beautiful men on the planet.
