This episode is one of my favorites for one simple reason: Alex FINALLY gets his.
SYNOPSIS
The episode stars with an emotional scene between In and his father, where his father forbids him to ever see Korn again. In refuses, and he’s upset that his father listens to gossip rather than his own son.

In the present, moments after both Dan and Pharm whisper “Promise” to one another, their friends are confused. They both play it off like it’s not big deal, and after Dean drops Pharm off at his condo, Pharm gives him another, surprise kiss. While he waves Dean off, Dean has a flash of Intouch.
In the past, we see Korn and In are celebrating In’s birthday. The happy moment is interrupted by In’s father. Breaking free from him In and Korn rush off into the rain.

Pharm wakes up in a sweat, screaming for Korn. He then makes breakfast for Sin and meets the juniors who are so rowdy, including Don, Dean’s little brother. Then, Sorn, Dean’s friend shows up, with Dean, and it’s revealed that Sin and Sorn are a couple. Alone in Pharm’s apartment he and Dean talk for the first time about In and Korn and the promise the two made to one another to find each other in their next life. Dean gives Pharm his dog tags while Pharm gives Dean a key to his condo.

The next day, Alex again tries to hit on Pharm. Team gets so angry, he’s ready to fight. Lucky Win and Dean arrive and Dean puts him in his place while at the same time revealing to the group that he and Pharm are officially a couple – much to the excitement of Del and Manaow.
Later that night, Win catches Team buying snacks and discovers that Team is struggling. Win offers to tutor him, but his fee is expensive. It costs a kiss.

Dean reaches out to Sin about helping him find out the truth about what really happened to Intouch and Korn
THOUGHTS
There is a lot to unpack during this episode. While it does show Intouch and Korn in the beginning, before the teaser, most of the episode takes place in the present. It’s also gives, if you’re paying attention, a glimpse that Korn and In die on In’s birthday – which makes their suicides all the more gut wrenching – and the direct result of the actions of their fathers.
