I’ve said it before and I’ll say it a million times more but there’s something incredibly special about SixTONES. So much more than your average JPOP boyband, the group of six have a unique style and sound all their own. A fact they drive home with “CREAK,” their eleventh single.

One of the two themes to the TV Asahi mystery drama “Knockin’ on Locked Door,” which stars group member Hokuto Matsumura along with Naniwa Danshi’s center cutie Daigo Nishihata, it’s a strange and unusual romp of shadows and symphony.

The more I familiarize myself with SixTONES and their body of work, one of the things that continues to impress me is just how different every single music video is.  It’s so easy to just be like “Here are six hot guys, watch them dance and sing” – which they are and I do (a lot) but  each video, like each of the group members, is unique.  This group doesn’t just skate by on the fact that they’re hot. They’re always pushing themselves, vocally and stylistically. They’re just incredible to watch.

A physical disc version drops on 30 August wherever Japanese CDs are sold, including CD Japan! The disc features additional bonus tracks and behind-the-scenes video extras.
