One of the things that I love about Johnny’s groups is that their concerts are not just live performances. The glistening glittering spectacles of incredible proportions and it is my humble opinion that Snow Man (who are the most popular group in Japan)  give some of the most spectacular performances of all! 

To celebrate the group’s second album Snow Labo S2, they embarked on a nationwide sold-out tour of Japan – with 35 performances in 8 cities, the show was a massive success and now fans can enjoy its splendor from the comfort of their own home. 

Recorded from the performance at the Yokohama Arena held on Saturday, 8 October 2022  the concert opens with one of my favorite tracks ブラザービート (eng: Brother Beat). As the theme to the 2022 comedy Osomatsu-San (which the group starred in), it’s one of those songs that really gets the energy going.  

Clocking in at just over two hours, the group really knows how to put on a show. Some of the standout performances to me include 

Snow World – Choreographed by Iwamoto, this song, which was featured on the group’s history-making debut single D.D. is overflowing with that bright and happy energy that the group is known for.

JUICY – This song launched so many Tik-Tok videos. It’s sexy, it’s fun, and the guys look fantastic doing it. 

Kitta Kittenai – when it comes to Snow Labo, this is my favorite song on the album. It’s just fun and the dance is simple and incredibly cute – especially when they fall to their knees in confusion. 

Crazy F-R-E-S-H Beat – this was the first video I ever watched from the group. I was transfixed by how well they moved together and like a well-oiled machine, the group has only gotten better.  Plus, Watanabe and Sakuma in mesh tops and Iwamoto in a crop top, YES PLEASE!
