Written for the screen by Habara Daisuke (BLEACH), Trillion Game is based on Inagaki Riichiro manga of the same name, illustrated by Ikegami Ryoichi. While it feels outside of my boys love / magical girl genre, it’s Ren. So I am contractually obligated the my role as a SnowTan to see it.
And it looks fabulous.
Haru Tennoji (Meguro) has an almost magical way with words.
Handsome and charismatic, he’s the type of guy everyone falls for – regardless of age or gender. Though on the surface, he appears as cool, calm and collected, but deep down, he’s got a dangerous ambitions. He will do anything to succeed. Turning down a lucrative at Japan’s largest IT company, Dragon Bank, he decides to go into business with his best friend Manabu Taira (Sano). His goal? To earn 1 trillion dollars.
Premiering on 14 July Trillion Game will air Fridays on TBS. Information for international broadcast is forthcoming.
